I don't think I should have to pay for health insurance if I don't intend on using it.
ACA has helped and saved many a person. If it's taken away and you can't afford private insurance your next best bet is a good low cost cremation funeral policy.
The Affordable Care Act disqualifies most persons on poverty levels, fixed incomes, and refugees. Congress should repeal it to establish a comprehensive medical care bill. Cost reduces to basic medical services as standard procedures, generic drugs, and holistic therapies.
This is terrible ( ; !!!That means more people with health problems are living longer and costing money! Why don't they just die as the American people and the GOP clearly want - unless they're rich enough to pay a lot for America's for-ransom medical charges. Why don't they roll over and play dead like America's underinsured Seniors, who get much poorer healthcare than other advanced nations and live a few years less than Seniors in other nations. That's a few years less expense. And we Americans don't want to cut back on restaurants, delaying replacing our 55" HDTV's with 60" 4K TVs, etc. etc. just to make the end years of Seniors and those with health problems more comfortable! It's amazing so many in the GOP are anti-science: they're certainly for Darwin's "Survival of the Fittest."
Hmm, health insurance is mandated by law, and they had to do a study to figure out that more people had it?
Alternative Facts. Bigly. (sarcasm)
My doctor said I shouldn't get insurance because of fainting spells I can just write off the bills and so far I ain't going broke to pay for my perscriptions.
People with chronic and expensive conditions don't need insurance. They need charity and/or socialized medicine. Not saying there's anything wrong with that, but trying to shoehorn them into insurance policies is doomed to fail. Insurance is for situations where there's uncertainty: car wreck, tornado, fire...
Unfortunately, it is this 5% that pushes the up the cost of health care for everyone. The problem is the rest of us pay to keep them alive. How we fix this I do not know.
If you are not a relative of a high-ranking member of the GOP, your chronic illness does not concern them.
Okay well this is where they failed when they rejected Palins death squads.
